A deep dive into creating a 3D billboard for Zouk, Las Vegas

In addition to the commercial for the Heinz packet Roller, the team at W+K asked me to design a 3D billboard.
The location was the Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas. The screen was new and this was its first 'gig.'
The screens looked great, the only issue was a row of windows along floors 7 & 8. I couldn't hide the windows, so I incorporated them into the idea:
"A large rectanglular light suspended inside a glass showroom. Beneath the light the Ketchup action will be staged. "

I wanted the windows covered in ketchup, mayo and Mustard - like a Jackson Pollock painting. Sadly, that idea didn't float.
Heinz wanted to showcase the roller from various angles. I didn't want to use edits as it would reveal the projection. Instead, I faded the light up and down to help the illusion.
